Celebrate Black History Month with us!
Black@INBOUND is celebrating Black History Month with a virtual Block Party. Join us and your favorite community members to network, connect, and jam out to some good music.
We’re talking about finding your work tribe, building your online network, getting your dream podcast started, and creating healthy habits with our topic hosts!
At 1 pm we'll be joined by special musical guest, DJ Efeezy, plus it wouldn't be a party without a few prizes. Registrants will be entered to win prizes from Ourside Fragrance, Terminal B Candles, Oui the People Bodycare, and Jungalow.

Shana Sumers is an engaging, inspiring force of empowerment and advocacy for safe spaces and intentional inclusion. As HubSpot’s Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Communities, Sumers has grown the Black@INBOUND community to new heights and aspires to launch other groups in the future. Outside of her work at HubSpot, Shana continues to drive intentional inclusion through her podcast, Bad Queers, and regular speaking engagements around building safe spaces, intersectionality and representation. -
Elijah Smith

Elijah Smith is a Risk Payments Analyst based in Dallas, Texas, born in Albany, NY. He specializes in preventing fraud on the payments platform within the Product Team. Besides his corporate role, he is also a co-owner of Fit4Fortune, a personal training company. Elijah has a passion for fitness, having competed in strength competitions, Spartan races, and Crossfit Challenges. He offers virtual and in-person personal training services, driven by his desire to assist others in achieving their fitness goals and enjoys connecting with new clients. In his leisure time, Elijah loves to travel the world, read manga, and tries different restaurants throughout Dallas. -
Dr. V Boykin

Dr. V Boykin is a keynote speaker, published researcher, and leader in the organizational leadership and equity space. Dr. V’s expertise is creating equitable work experiences for women and people of color. Dr. V established clear evidence to illustrate the importance of social support systems in tackling workplace equity through shifts in the social environment. Dr. V utilizes her skills and knowledge to disrupt and redefine leadership training and enablement programs and organizational structures, resulting in increased performance and profitability. Dr. V has a DBA in Organizational Leadership, an MBA, a MS in Management and Leadership, and a BS in Marketing Management. -
Kyle Foster

Kyle is a Senior Marketing Manager at HubSpot, where he leads the Black@INBOUND Community. With a background in supporting Black entrepreneurs and business owners, he is committed to fostering growth, empowerment, and community within the Black business ecosystem. Outside of work, he can be found at the gym, enjoying brunch, or out for a drive.
