About HubSpot Partner Badges

HubSpot Academy offers a wide variety of achievements, including accreditations, certifications, and badges. And now, solutions partners are eligible to earn HubSpot Partner Badges. HubSpot Partner Badges validate the skills and capabilities of a solutions partner or solutions partner organization. Solutions partner organizations can earn HubSpot Partner badges through validation and verification of:

  • Experience selling to and servicing a specific segment of HubSpot customers
  • Evidence of specific technical or industry expertise
  • Third-party credentials that provide validation of a specific skill

HubSpot Partner Badges are displayed on the Solutions Partner Directory to help customers identify the best fit partner for their needs.

Available HubSpot Partner Badges

The first HubSpot Partner Badge to launch is the HubSpot Verified Security Credential Holder badge. This badge is available in six variants, each reflecting a security credential that the solutions partner has informed us they possess.
  • Security Credential Holder - SOC 2 Type 1
  • Security Credential Holder - SOC 2 Type 2
  • Security Credential Holder - ISO27001
  • Security Credential Holder - Cyber Essentials
  • Security Credential Holder - Cyber Essential Plus
  • Security Credential Holder - HITRUST


This badge is awarded after HubSpot reviews evidence provided by the solutions partner demonstrating that they have an active credential listed above. After a partner receives this badge, it will remain valid for 12 months until HubSpot's subsequent review.

HubSpot partner accreditations are our most rigorous credential. They are earned by organizations through the validation of prerequisites, case studies, and project documentation. 

HubSpot Academy certifications are earned by individuals, and validate a person’s knowledge and skill through the completion of HubSpot Academy certification courses. 

HubSpot Partner Badges are a type of achievement earned through HubSpot Academy. These badges can be earned through participation in events and programs, or after verification of existing credentials and expertise. Like our other HubSpot Academy achievements, Partner Badges will distinguish partners in the market and enable the right connections based on the knowledge, skill, or expertise of a HubSpot solutions partner or organization.

As we now support storing Sensitive Data in HubSpot Smart CRM, customers have increasingly broader requirements for security controls when onboarding partners. This badge helps HubSpot customers identify partners with an attested level of security controls.

Although these partners shared their documentation with HubSpot, the customer is ultimately responsible for vetting the partner’s security practices, validating the partner’s documentation, and ensuring they are using HubSpot in a compliant manner. 

These partners have shared their prior experience and documentation with HubSpot, demonstrating their security controls meet an industry standard, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and/or HITRUST.

Although these partners shared their documentation with HubSpot, the customer is ultimately responsible for vetting the partner’s security practices, validating the partner’s documentation, and ensuring they are using HubSpot in a compliant manner. 

Badges will be visible in HubSpot’s Solutions Partner Directory.
