HubSpot Partner Badges validate the skills, specialization, and verified credentials of a solutions partner organization. They're earned at the organization level and reflect something specific and substantive about what your firm brings to the table.

Solutions partner organizations can earn HubSpot Partner Badges through validation and verification of:

  • Experience selling to and servicing a specific segment of HubSpot customers
  • Evidence of specific technical or industry expertise
  • Third-party credentials that provide validation of a specific skill or capability

Partner badges appear on HubSpot’s Solutions Partner Directory, making it easy for customers to find the right partner for their needs, and are recognized in HubSpot's internal Partner Matching Tool.

Partner Badges are organized into three categories, each recognizing a different type of demonstrated expertise.

Industry Specialization Badges

Industry Specialization Badges recognize partner organizations with specialized expertise, proven customer experience, and a dedicated GTM focus on serving HubSpot customers in a specific industry.

To Earn the Industry Specialization Badge

To earn an Industry Specialization Badge, your organization must demonstrate deep industry knowledge, from purpose-built solutions and integrations to a clear understanding of the pain points, language, and use cases that matter most to customers in that industry.

HubSpot Verified Security Badge

Verified Security Badges recognize partner organizations that hold active, recognized third-party security credentials. These badges help enterprise customers identify partners who meet specific security standards, an increasingly important consideration as customers evaluate partners for engagements involving sensitive data in HubSpot Smart CRM.

Verified Security Badges are awarded after HubSpot reviews evidence provided by the partner demonstrating they hold an active credential. Once awarded, the badge remains valid for 12 months, at which point HubSpot conducts a subsequent review.

FAQ

HubSpot partner accreditations are our most rigorous credential. They are earned by organizations through the validation of prerequisites, case studies, and project documentation. 

HubSpot Academy certifications are earned by individuals, and validate a person’s knowledge and skill through the completion of HubSpot Academy certification courses. 

HubSpot Partner Badges are a type of achievement earned through HubSpot Academy. These badges can be earned through participation in events and programs, or after verification of existing credentials and expertise. Like our other HubSpot Academy achievements, Partner Badges will distinguish partners in the market and enable the right connections based on the knowledge, skill, or expertise of a HubSpot solutions partner or organization.

As we now support storing Sensitive Data in HubSpot Smart CRM, customers have increasingly broader requirements for security controls when onboarding partners. This badge helps HubSpot customers identify partners with an attested level of security controls.

Although these partners shared their documentation with HubSpot, the customer is ultimately responsible for vetting the partner’s security practices, validating the partner’s documentation, and ensuring they are using HubSpot in a compliant manner. 

These partners have shared their prior experience and documentation with HubSpot, demonstrating their security controls meet an industry standard, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and/or HITRUST.

Although these partners shared their documentation with HubSpot, the customer is ultimately responsible for vetting the partner’s security practices, validating the partner’s documentation, and ensuring they are using HubSpot in a compliant manner. 

Badges will be visible in HubSpot’s Solutions Partner Directory.

Partners are only able to apply to defined industries. We are consistently reviewing the available options and will add additional badges as the need arises.Partners are only able to apply to defined industries. Each partner is able to receive a badge in up to 3 industries.

Once a partner has 3 badges, their next application will be declined in the prereq stage.

If a partner wishes to switch one of their current badged industries with another, they can do so by submitting an appeal.

Partners can always submit appeals if they believe that the automatic check is factoring in the wrong industry for certain portals. Please find the appeal form in your declined email and proceed with filling out the form there.
