Godard Abel
Co-founder & CEO
A 5x SaaS entrepreneur, with over two decades of experience, Godard Abel is CEO of B2B software marketplace and tech unicorn G2, which he co-founded in 2012. He also serves as Executive Chairman of ThreeKit, a leading 3D visualization technology company, and Logik.io, a next generation configuration technology.
Previously, Godard built cloud CPQ software pioneers BigMachines (acquired by Oracle) and SteelBrick (acquired by Salesforce), and served as a GM at Niku prior to its IPO in 2000 and subsequent acquisition by CA. Before entering the technology industry, Godard consulted for McKinsey & Company and advised leading manufacturers in the U.S. and Germany on strategy development and business process improvement.
A finalist for EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019, Godard earned an MBA from Stanford University and both a B.S. and M.S. in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a member of the 2016 Class of Henry Crown Fellows and the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.

Tim Handorf
Co-founder & Head of G2 Labs
Tim Handorf is a G2 co-founder and Head of G2 Labs, which is focused on innovating new product opportunities that will fuel the company’s growth. He is also Executive Chairman of CarrierSource and previously led Product Management at BigMachines, which was acquired by Oracle.
Active in the Chicago technology scene, Tim has been recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business Journal on their “Tech 50” list. He’s also a board member of Chicago Tech Academy and a member of the Young Professional Organization’s (YPO) Chicagoland Chapter. Having grown up on a farm in central Iowa, Tim currently resides in Southern Wisconsin with his wife and three kids.

Chief Revenue Officer
Mike Weir is Chief Revenue Officer at G2, the world’s largest and most trusted software marketplace, where he fuels the growth of the G2 Marketplace through engagement and support of G2 Marketing, Seller, Buyer, and Partner Solutions.
Mike joined G2 from LinkedIn, where he spent eight years shaping Go-To-Market strategy and customer support for the Technology vertical, which helped LinkedIn Marketing Solutions become an industry leading partner to the tech industry. Before LinkedIn, Mike led Marketing teams at technology companies which provides him a unique perspective as a Marketing & Sales Executive with 20 years in the technology industry. A champion of driving Marketing & Sales alignment, Mike discusses this topic in depth with expert guests as the host of G2’s podcast series “GTM Innovators.”

Andrew Stapleton
Head of Services, Sales
As Head of Services, Sales at G2, Andrew Stapleton leads a focused team enabling tech-software service providers and resellers better go to market, based on who is in-market. He previously served as the company’s VP of Customer Success. Before G2, Andrew held Customer Success leadership roles at leading tech companies SteelBrick (acquired by Salesforce) and BigMachines (acquired by Oracle).
Andrew serves as an advisor and mentor for a number of tech organizations including Vodori, Prodly, VentrueScale, and Amaforge. He’s also a Leadership Council Member at Sales Assembly. Interested in the overlap between faith and work in tech, Andrew is an active volunteer in his local Church and community. A husband and father of five, Andrew and his family reside in the Chicago area.
