Meet the Speakers

Jeffrey Broer - Co-founder of Mulana Investment Management

Jeffrey is a Hong Kong based Dutch entrepreneur turned advisor at Kohpy.com and helps getting entrepreneur's story straight for M&A and fundraising. He helped over 135 entrepreneurs (and counting) with their value propositions and he has seen thousands of pitches and pitch decks.

He is a "managing expectations" strategists with focus on technology innovation, working on bridging UX, business, stakeholders, user and design. He (co-)founded multiple businesses, In Europe, Asia and Silicon Valley.

He co-runs the Biomedical Innovation Team program at HKUMed and he was the Program Director of Accenture FinTech Innovation Lab APAC in 2020 and 2021. He recently joined Mulana.VC an investor in the DeFi/Web3 space, where his role as advisor and venture partner is looking at machine economics project and connecting the physical world with the online world and machine economics.

He also founded the Postmortem Conference, Hong Kong's very own conference about "Startup Failure: Lessons Learned" and the Mea Culpa podcast www.mcp.fm

Tharin Sethi - Managing Director of SethiG

Tharin Sethi is a fourth generation Thai-Indian entrepreneur with business roots in the textiles, hospitality and real estate sectors. He is the Managing Director of SethiG, a firm specializing in market expansion services, hospitality advisory and strategic investments. Tharin also manages a small-scale fund on behalf of his family with diverse deployments in various investment classes including Financial Markets & Venture Capital.

Gwenllian Ching - Head of HubSpot For Startup (APAC)

Gwenllian is the Head of Startups, APAC @ HubSpot. She spearheads all partnerships in APAC Market, covering India, SEA and AUNZ regions and works closely with early-stage to growth-stage startups on their sales, marketing, and customer growth efforts.

Prior to joining HubSpot, she had worked in TikTok to support SMB clienteles in Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines Region as the first headcount of the team. She spent past 5 years in Startup Ecosystem where in both Private and Public Sector where her focus was on building a more vibrant startup ecosystem in Singapore and wider SEA Markets.
