Dan is an investor and entrepreneur with extensive experience in software and AI, with applications across financial services, healthcare, education, supply chain, defense, and other markets.
Dan started his career at JP Morgan Asset Management, and worked on management of more than $4.3B over a career in investment management and venture capital, including 7 years as portfolio manager of a computational commodity fund, 20 years as Director of Technology Investments for Mediatech Capital, and 10 years in VC.
Dan also founded companies or worked with early founding teams 14 times, and participated in 35 tech startups resulting in 10 exits (so far) totaling $900m+ in enterprise value.
Jonny is a Principal Investor at Athenian VC and a co-founder of Literally Helping Startups, which is an organization that helps founders for free. He has personally worked with thousands of founders over the last several years and reviewed thousands of pitch decks.
He also actively shares startup dealflow with investors throughout the Boston investor community. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from Northeastern and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.
Anastacia Yefimenko is the founder and CEO of Elcove, a groundbreaking brand of zero-waste, non-toxic home care products dedicated to simplifying sustainable living for households everywhere. With a passion for innovation and a commitment to environmental responsibility, she has built Elcove’s from ideation to rapid market expansion
Dan leads HubSpot for Startups’ GTM and Partnerships in the Southeast. In his current role, he works with hundreds of VC’s, accelerators, incubators, and other startup organizations in order to provide entrepreneurs with coaching, guidance, and access to tools that help founders scale and grow their businesses. Dan previously led the Community Partnerships team for Capital Factory, a large venture group and accelerator in Texas. He has also served as the founding member of a startup where he was responsible for leading business development and sales efforts. Prior to that, Dan was an institutional fundraiser for a variety of institutional investment managers, where his teams were cumulatively responsible for fundraising over $450 million for equity strategies and over $500 million for fixed income strategies.
