About the Speakers

Kim Walsh, HubSpot for Startups Global Vice President

Kim serves as Global VP, HubSpot for Startups, a business designed to help startups grow and scale. She was formally the Head of Enterprise Sales, West Coast for HubSpot. Kim launched the GTM strategy, built the operating model, and expanded the team, globally. Prior to joining HubSpot, Kim led global sales for a technology-based startup footwear company, SpringBoost. Kim has an MBA from Babson College and was a finalist in the MIT 100K business challenge. She grew up in Alberta, Canada, and ventured to the United States on a soccer scholarship after playing for her country.

 

Wogbe Ofori, Houston Founder Institute Director

An entrepreneur who’s equally artist, engineer, and executive 360APPROACH’s Founder and Principal Wogbe (wo-bee) Ofori brings over 25-years of entrepreneurial and executive experience from multiple industries to every engagement. Known as the “Purveyor of Perspective,” his unusually broad and diverse experience has both proven and honed his talents as a generalist advisor. A natural didact, he’s also mentored over 50 startup founders and companies through his association with startup development organizations Capital Factory (Texas’ most active venture capital firm), MassChallenge, gener8tor, and the University of Houston’s SURE (Stimulating Urban Renewal through Entrepreneurship) program.

Rachel Sheppard, Founder Institutes Director of Global Marketing

As the Director of Global Marketing at the Founder Institute, Rachel oversees, implements, and designs the Institute's digital marketing strategies in 180+ cities and 65+ countries. Additionally, Rachel is the co-creator of the Founder Institute's Female Founder Initiative and the FI for Good Campaign. Further, Rachel manages the global advertising strategy and budget, lead generation, funnel management, brand recognition, and marketing team growth and development.
