Instagram Growth Worksheet
Sophie Miller’s five-step worksheet for growing from zero to 200K followers — and turning Instagram into a channel that drives real business outcomes.
Create beautifully crafted, personalized emails with zero design skills—HubSpot’s AI-powered email marketing makes it simple.
Growing on Instagram seems straightforward until you realize followers and business impact are two very different things. Without a plan that connects content to outcomes, reach is just a vanity metric.
How do you convert passive viewers into customers? Start with this system.
Sophie Miller, creator of Pretty Little Marketer, built a five-step system for creating a three-month content plan, with every post mapped to a job and every month measured on the numbers that actually matter.

What's Inside
Pick something you’ve got coming up — a launch, a new offer, a job hunt. Count back three months and give each one a job: reach, nurture, sell. Now your content has a direction before you’ve written a single caption.
Every post does one of three things: reach new people, nurture the ones already following you, or sell. Plan your next eight posts and decide upfront how you’ll judge each one because a reach post with low saves isn’t a failure if it brings in new followers.
Decide where you’ll move people off the platform, how you’ll make your followers feel like the main character, and when you’ll show up in comments and DMs each week.
A great cover gets someone to stop. The slides behind it make them send it. Build your carousel using Sophie’s own framework with a cover that says something unexpected, slides that back it up, and a clear reason to share it.
Judge Instagram on the people who get closer to you, not just how many strangers saw a post. Track sends, saves, story replies, DMs, and sign-ups every month — and use what you find to decide what to do more of.
