How to Use This Tracker

Follow these steps to get your dashboard up and running in minutes:

1. Make a Copy

Start by making your own copy of the tracker so you can edit it.

2. Export Your YouTube View Data

  • Sign into YouTube Studio
  • Go to Analytics → Advanced Mode
  • Select your desired date range
  • Export your data as a CSV file

Paste that data into the tab labeled CSV_import_Views.

3. Export Your Conversion Data

Download conversion data from your analytics or attribution tool (we use Snowflake, but any source works).

Paste that data into the tab labeled CSV_Conversions.

4. Match Your Video IDs

Double-check that your Video IDs match between the two CSV tabs.
This is what allows the tracker to combine view data and conversion data correctly.

Notes Before You Start

Once your data is in place, the main tracker tab will automatically update with:

  • Monthly view tracking
  • Lead tracking by video
  • Month-over-month comparisons
  • End-of-month forecasts
  • Performance pacing insights

You’ll instantly see which videos are driving growth — and which ones need optimization.

Formatting Tip:
If you export directly from YouTube Analytics into Google Sheets, it may format the file as long data. This tracker requires wide data, so you’ll need to pivot it before pasting.
