How We're Supporting Our Customers

We are currently living through a period of uncertainty that we'll never forget. To help support you, our customers, we have made a number of changes that we hope will help you adapt to these times.

 

Adding Free Tools

 

Businesses of all types and sizes are finding themselves in the position of having to move whole portions of their operation online. To help them adapt, we’re making our paid Meetings functionality, Quotes, E-Sign, and 1:1 video creation tools completely free for 90 days from when they're activated by the user. 

Meetings: Share a link with prospects or customers that lets them see when you're free and book virtual meetings with you. When live, all users will have access to paid meeting functionality - that’s 1,000 personal & team meetings links per portal.

Quotes & E-sign: Create and share proposals online in just a few clicks. Then get digital signatures for quotes and other documents. All users will have access to unlimited quotes and 10 signatures per user per month.

1:1 Video Creation: Create and share personalized videos with prospects directly from the HubSpot CRM, and track their performance. Videos can be up to one hour in length. This is separate from the Vidyard for HubSpot integration.

Removing Limits

 

At this time of change, businesses need to keep in regular contact with their customers and stay connected to their communities. So, we’re increasing certain limits for the next 90 days.

Calling Limits: We’re increasing our calling limits for Starter and Professional customers of Sales Hub and Service Hub. Users will have access to up to 2,000 minutes of calling per user per month, so no in-person meetings are required. As an FYI, calling is not supported in all countries.

Email Sending Limits: For Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise customers, we’re suspending email sending limits altogether so they can communicate when they need, as much as they need.

Pricing Changes

 

To support small businesses through this uncertain time, we’re making some pricing changes.

Starter Growth Suite: We’ll be cutting the price of our Starter Growth Suite to $50 USD/month. For 12 months from purchase of this offer, all existing and new Starter Growth Suite customers will have access to the bundle of marketing, sales, and services software at the reduced price. A 12 month purchase commitment is required. After the 12 months, the discount will revert back to the standard 25% Growth Suite discount, or $112.50 USD per month. 

All customers are eligible for this. Please note, if you are on an older version of a Starter product and choose to participate in this offer, you will be moved to the pricing and functionality of our current Starter products - viewable here. You will not be able to move back to an older version, so please assess this decision carefully. We want to ensure you do the best thing for you and your company. You are on an older version if you purchased Sales or Service Hub Starter before March 3, 2020 and have not upgraded since then, or if you purchased Marketing Hub Starter before July 17, 2018 and have not upgraded since then.

Sales Hub Professional: We had planned to increase the list price of net new Sales Hub Professional seats on April 1 - we’ve decided to put this pricing increase on hold.

FAQs

  • Existing users who are eligible to receive new functionality will receive a prompt in your HubSpot portal to activate these features in the coming days - you will need admin permissions to activate them. New limits will be enabled automatically.

  • Access to these additional features will last for 90 days from when you activate them, and higher limits will last for 90 days.

  • No. This offer will be made available without any changes to your subscription.

  • This is the first and most obvious set of things we plan to do in support of our customers during this difficult period. As we hear feedback and better understand the nature of how these challenges are impacting you, we plan to continuously evaluate our response and move to continue to support you where we can.

  • We’re still operationalizing this offer - it will be available on our pricing page in the coming weeks.

  • In accordance with data privacy regulations like GDPR, HubSpot retains the data in tools and applications a customer no longer has access to for 90 days before permanent deletion. This means that if you downgrade from one tier to a tier below it, data in any apps you lose access to would be retained for 90 days and could be re-accessed should you restart your original subscription.

  • While HubSpot for Startups customers are eligible for this offer, you should compare it to the pricing available to you through the HubSpot for Startups program as that may result in a lower price depending on your specific circumstances. The startup discount will not be stacked with this one-time discount on the Growth Suite bundle. Please reach out to HSFS@hubspot.com for additional questions and clarification.
