Launch of Technology Partner Program Tiers & Benefits

The App Partner Program is now the Technology Partner Program, a more strategic framework that recognizes the full scope of what technology partners build.

The program introduces four tiers (Partner, Rising, Leading, Premier) based on customer value, revenue influence, and strategic alignment.

Each tier has clear requirements and benefits, so partners know exactly where they stand and how to grow.

Updated Solutions Partner Tiers and Points Matrix

To maintain quality, consistency, and differentiation in our ecosystem, we’ve updated our solutions partner tier thresholds for 2026 and made two key changes:

We’ve simplified the tiers by removing managed minimums and shifted our retention metric from C$R to GRR, which looks more holistically at where customers are getting value from our products, and aligns to our internal CSM teams, who also look at GRR as their measure of value. Retention is not just an elite requirement, it is now a requirement at the Diamond level as well.

New point thresholds will launch on July 15, 2026. Partners will have until January 15, 2027 to meet new thresholds.

Industry Badges can be earned by Solution Partner organizations who have specialized expertise, proven experience, and dedicated GTM focus on serving HubSpot customers in key industries. These awards will be visible on your directory profile, with enhancements to search and filtering, to help customers more easily discover partners with relevant expertise.

Forward Deployed Engineers Pilot & Partner Scaled Motion

As part of HubSpot’s shift toward an Agentic Customer Platform, we are piloting a new "Forward Deployed" motion with our solutions architects and our partners to accelerate customer value.

We are currently experimenting with a select group of partners and our in-house Solution Architects to co-create a customer AI adoption framework. As we start to see results, we will begin scaling this motion by sharing our framework with the ecosystem and surfacing high-intent customers directly to partners equipped to deliver agentic AI outcomes.

This new motion ensures that as our AI tools evolve, our ecosystem is ready to lead. By aligning HubSpot's technical resources with partner expertise, we are creating a blueprint for partner-led customer success in the AI era.

Quarterly HubSpot Dev Platform Playground Event Series

Introducing Dev Platform Playground: A New Quarterly Event Series.

We're launching Dev Platform Playground, a quarterly virtual event series designed for builders who want to go deeper with the HubSpot Developer Platform. Every quarter, you'll get the opportunity to learn, explore, and build with new features through hands-on workshops, deep dives, and direct access to the platform teams building the tools you rely on.

Our first Playground kicks off March 19, 2026, with three technical workshops covering the New Marketplace Install flow, Developer Platform App Migration, and Converting your Legacy Developer Account. You'll walk away with practical skills and strategies you can implement immediately.

These events are your chance to connect with other builders, ask questions in real time, and shape how you work with the HubSpot Developer Platform.

International Accreditations

Reminder: Accreditations can be applied for at any time throughout the year!

New: We have updated the CRM Implementation accreditation standards by offering adjusted subscription requirements and extending the implementation look-back window to 24 months. These changes also include new flexible criteria for partners outside of North America, allowing high-value projects with 30+ Sales Hub Enterprise seats and $10,000+ MRR to qualify for accreditation.

Marketing Development Funds

The Marketing Development Fund provides partners with an opportunity to amplify their event marketing efforts and is open to all Platinum, Diamond, and Elite solutions partners. Submit proposals via your Partner Resource Portal. If approved, partners can receive up to 50% budget matching for webinars, workshops, or in-person experiences.

Note: Applications are rolling and on a first-come, first-served basis (with a priority for in-person events and those with proven ROI). Applications should be submitted a minimum of 6 weeks in advance, and we suggest submitting as soon as possible to secure your funding.

Commissions Advance Program

We’re continuing to run our annual commission advance program to reward high performing partners, support their cash flow, and reinforce our commitment to partners driving strong sourcing growth and retention. 2026 advances went out in January and we’ll be finalizing criteria/eligibility in the fall later this year for 2027 eligibility.

Please continue to check in with your PDM to continue tracking your trailing 12-month sourcing and retention performance.

Partner Growth Fund

The Partner Growth Fund is HubSpot’s invite-only growth investment for our highest-performing sourcing partners.

Partners earn entry by demonstrating consistent performance and impact, and receive an annual grant to fuel continued growth.

The program is performance-based by design - partners must continue to meet the criteria each year to remain part of the Growth Fund.

HubSpot Solutions Partner Co-Selling Certification

The HubSpot Solutions Partner Co-Selling Certification is designed for individuals involved in partner-sourced and partner-assisted deals. Grounded in real co-selling scenarios, the certification focuses on clear roles, shared expectations, and practical guidance to help partners and HubSpot’s Global Sales team work together more smoothly and consistently throughout the sales cycle.

Deal-Based Commissions

In 2025, we launched Deal-Based Commissions globally.

We moved from a product-line to a deal-based attribution model for reporting, commissions, and tiering.

This means that partners now earn 20% over 3 years on all sourced MRR (including upsells).

We moved to this model because our product-line model wasn't able to keep pace with evolving pricing and couldn't reward partners for growing accounts they didn’t originally sell.

This new commission model ensures partners are recognized for the value they drive — a change they’ve been asking for over the years.

Reminder: To receive credit for any deal (sourced or assisted) partners must create a shared deal.

Revamping Solutions Partner Program Entry

In July, we will be launching exciting changes to our Solutions Partner Program:

1. Creating a Single Entry Point: We're unifying our Untiered and Provider entry points into a single point of entry, Solutions Partner.

2. Introducing a Partner Program Membership: A $400/month membership will be the entry and ongoing eligibility requirement for all Solutions Partners. We will waive the fee if your product subscriptions exceed a net cost of $400+/month.

These updates are designed to strengthen our program value and further enable partner success by streamlining program entry, ensuring equity across partners, and increasing customer value.

Shared notes allow you to collaborate seamlessly with HubSpot partners on shared customers.

Shared Notes creates a direct communication bridge between Customer Success Managers and Partners inside HubSpot. Coordinate on customer initiatives, align on renewals, and flag risks with real-time updates that sync automatically between your CRM and the partner portal. CSMs receive instant task notifications when partners leave notes. The result? A unified team delivering seamless customer success.

We've expanded the Partner Client object with critical data partners need to drive results. Partners now see renewal dates across all hubs, use case activation metrics, Breeze credits consumption, and product editions. This intelligence enables proactive renewal management, tracks customer adoption, and makes it easier to segment clients and identify upsell opportunities.

Credits in Partner Demo Portals

Partners will receive 1,000 recurring monthly credits in their Partner Demo Portals. Credits are use-it-or-lose-it, so unused credits will not roll over to the next month.

You can demo HubSpot’s agents and credit-consuming features to prospects without worrying that you will run out of credits.

The HubSpot Catalyst Partner Program is a selective 6-month accelerator designed for high-potential technology partners who act as catalysts for customer impact.

Participants receive benefits normally reserved for Premier and Leading tier partners, including a named Partner Manager, solutions architect consulting, and GTM support.

Catalyst supports early-stage builders launching integrations and established partners who are ready to unlock deeper product alignment and GTM, exploring joint opportunities, and accelerate their growth within the HubSpot ecosystem.
